Sock Drive 2021

Main Street Project - 1st  Annual Sock Drive

October is Our Justice’s birthday month and we are participating with Socktober month for Main Street Project.
The struggle of Winnipeg’s homeless is very dear to Justice’s heart as he always helped those who are in need.
In honour of Justice’s birthday we are asking for your help in collecting pairs of new socks, underwear and hygiene products during the month of October so that we can keep lots of pairs of feet dry, warm and healthy in this coming winter months.
You can drop off your donations in front of our house and place them in a blue bin at:
516 Victoria Avenue East Winnipeg Manitoba R2C 0G1. (Main Street Project is not accepting any used socks this year).
Main Street Project provides a safe place of respite, shelter and support, with dignity and without judgment to individuals in our community experiencing homelessness and addiction.
There are other ways to support this great cause by either:
-Drop off locations throughout the city of Winnipeg -Purchase socks from Main Street Project’s Amazon wish list -Or make a financial donation to MSP - www.mainstreetproject.ca
Making a donation is a way of reaching out a helping hand. By providing even a small donation, you can be part of an effort to provide medical assistance, supply food and shelter, and help individuals rebuild their lives and communities.
Thank you for your support to this cause and honouring our beloved son Justice on his special day.
The Socktober drive was a huge success, all the donations you provided in Justice’s memory totaled 1973 pairs of socks!!! Plus, a number of other essential items (100’s), such as hygiene products, underwear, gloves, mittens, blankets and coffee.
We would like to send out a BIG thank YOU to all of our families, friends and our community who have donated. Your love and generosity is very appreciated! Because of YOU, we can provide support to those needing to stay warm and healthy in the coming winter months to the Main Street Project.
Main Street Project provides a safe place of respite, shelter and support, with dignity and without judgment to individuals in our community experiencing homelessness and addiction.
Thank YOU so much for your support, we appreciate you all!
