Lake Disappointment, Nic Dyson, and Zach Riley we can’t thank you all enough for the passion, the love, the backing, the commitment, and enthusiasm you all brought to celebrating and honoring the Halloween Forever show. We admire each one of you and value your contribution to this very special evening.
The legacy Justice left his friends & family after 1,547 days allowed us to see and hear him again. We’ll never forget, we hear you Justice; It’s a priceless gift, thank you. Ziggy Duncan produced a music video that showcased Jaden (losesleep) & Justice (immureurydice) doing what inspired them.
Julius reflected: from the 1st annual fundraiser and where we are today in the depths of our grief and finding a path forward and being able to bring so many folks together in Justice’s memory. The reason we call the show Halloween Forever is because Justice was born on Oct 31st. Justice experienced a 10-year battle with depression and not a day goes by where I don’t miss my brother. Grief is love that has no place to go and that’s why we have this concert. Every year, we celebrate the music he loved and take the opportunity to fundraise mental health.
The critical importance of mental health, each one of us has been touched by someone in need and the importance of knowing those struggling with these challenges matter, they need to know they matter.
We will continue to raise awareness and funds to support the ongoing efforts to fight the stigma of depression.
Thank you all for sharing in a piece of Justice’s world with us. In Justice’s own simple words, he would softly say “I appreciate you” and to all the performances “you ******* crushed it!” & “see you later”.
A huge thank you to everyone that supported through purchasing tickets, honorary tickets, and merchandise. 100% of these proceeds from the show will go directly to mental health programs in Manitoba. The fundraiser will support the incredibly important work they do. We all raised $5000.00 to donate to these vital service.

On October 25, 2025, the Halloween Forever fundraising concert at the Park Theatre, featuring local musicians, the lineup includes Lake Disappointment, Nic Dyson, and the the Zach Riley Band. Tickets are available through the Park Theatre website.
Justice Chester was born on Hallowe’en, and he loved making music.
That’s why - in his memory - Justice’s family and friends now organize an annual concert called "Halloween Forever”. The goal is to honour his memory, while raising funds and awareness for local groups that help those living with mental illness.
Justice Chester passed from an intentional drug overdose in 2021, at the young age of 23. He’d been living with depression for a decade.
All proceeds from the show will go toward mental health programming and awareness campaigns for non-profit organizations in Manitoba. To date the Halloween Forever concerts have raised roughly $10,000 to support organizations that are working directly with Manitoba communities who are implementing strategies to raise awareness of depression and mental illness.
